Minority Access Offers Spring, Summer and Fall paid Internships

The Minority Access National Internship Program is designed to allow talented undergraduate and graduate students experience the diversity and scope of career opportunities available in the federal, state and local government and participating private business entities. The program allows students to merge academic theory with the experience they are learning in the workplace.

Minority Access interns receive pre-employment training, financial management and professional development, and recognition for fulfilling the program's requirements. The Minority Access National Internship Program staff is available to lend assistance to the interns.

Students, are you ready to begin working and getting experience in the field of your choice? Would you like an internship during your college career that has the possibility of an offer for full-time employment upon graduation? Would you like to earn pay for receiving hands-on experience; and share experiences with students from other colleges and universities? The Minority Access National Diversity & Inclusion Internship Program could provide you with the opportunity for all of the above!

Applicants must meet the following criteria: *

  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident**
  • Currently Enrolled in an accredited college or university, seeking a degree or certification at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Be a sophomore, junior, senior, graduate, or law student
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Available to work full-time or part-time, depending on the session.
*NOTE: Qualifying applications are referred to the requesting agency for final selections. Minority Access NDIIP does NOT make final selections or job assignments. Participating departments/organizations makes all final selections.
**Depending on the internship, Citizen Eligibility may be limited to U.S. Citizens.
