College bound and current college students are invited to explore academic and career opportunities with diverse institutions, organizations and agencies.
12:00PM - 1:00PM Conference Workshops for
Undergraduate Student Researchers

Seasoned researchers will provide student from colleges and universities nationwide with guidance to enhance their research activities, advanced studies and outlook on research careers.
1:30PM - 3:30PM Conference Opening Session
Minority Access will officially open the conference and welcome conference participants. The session will feature elected and career officials of the Federal Government who will provide perspectives on and opportunities for advancing diversity and diminishing disparities through the federal sector.
3:30PM - 4:30PM Conference Workshops for
Undergraduate Student Researchers

Student will continue to hear from seasoned researchers offering guidance for students’ development.
4:30PM - 8:00PM Embassy Crawl & Reception
Conference registrants will visit selected embassies to meet with Ambassadors and other embassy officials to broaden their views and knowledge of diversity in other countries and enjoy private on-site receptions. Pre-registration required for reservation and bus transportation between the hotel and embassies.

9:00AM - 12:00PM General Conference Sessions
These sessions will include experts and practitioners will share briefly their successes in advancing issues of diversity and disparities and will engage the audience with a question and answer period; a study on human rights versus civil rights in examining diversity issues; and other topics related to achieving an inclusive society with hopes of diminishing disparities.
12:30PM - 2:30PM Luncheon and Recognition of Colleges and Universities for Their Commitment to Diversity
2:30PM - 4:30PM Book Fair
Authors will be available to discuss their books on subjects related to diversity, education, healthcare and health disparities, economics and other approved subjects.
3:00PM - 6:00PM Undergraduate Student Researchers Presentations
Undergraduate students in biomedical and biological sciences and in engineering and technology disciplines will present their research competitively for cash awards totaling up to $7,500.
7:00PM - 9:30PM Role Models Awards Gala Honoring
2016 Minority Access Role Models
